This work expresses my appreciation for water. I dive into it each day and it supports and renews me as I swim. I am invigorated by it in its massive bodies and beauty of it. Ultimately water connects the world and has since the beginning. Our communities thrive on our waterways and they provide everything from hydration to transportation to recreation. We have not always been respectful to our greatest resource. My hope is that through art, we can fuel the world and save our planet.

“Surrounds Joy”, Lithography Ink Monotype 2020 is what comes from with in and plays out in my abstract monotype that is sunshine fueled with color and floating in tne vibrant blue composition.

My perspective in representing “WATER” is joyous. To rejoice in the graditude that I have. This the first step in honoring the gift.
